Today's #SWTOR dev stream contained a lot of interesting updates, and I had a lot of thoughts. From what I loved to what still wasn't quite what I was hoping for, you can find it all here (the flashpoint changes were the biggest bit of news to me personally):

Yep. Those Star Fortresses are especially tough! If you are on the Star Forge or Satele Shan server I can lend you a hand if you like, having one extra person makes a big difference.

There are two extra abilities that some folks overlook: Heroic Moment (found under the General skills tab) gives you a powerful dps boost (once you completed each class story) with some extra healing and Unity (under the Legacy tab) which is strong defensive cooldown for Light side characters. ...

Likewise a Vet Star Fortress is much tougher than a Vet Flashpoint. I'd suggest new players still learning their class and gearing looking for solo content always start with [STORY] or [SOLO] options. ...

One frustrating thing about swtor is that "veteran mode" does not mean the same thing in different activities. Veteran Flashpoints are meant to be doable by any group composition, but a Veteran Uprising is comparable to a Master Mode flashpoint! 🧵

I don’t understand!

The Bestial Champion armor set from SWTOR PVP season 8 reward track, both with its default colors and a white/red dye.

Here is the Bestial Champion set with its default colors on the left and White/Red dye on the left. Sadly, the armored parts don't seem to dye. I don't have the version with the glowing feathers, but if it's like previous season's set, the glow will match to secondary dye colors. I hope this helps!

If you missed any of the jackpots from previous #SWTOR Nightlife Events, this year's version has been great for catching up. If you hope to win any of the new jackpots, I think the best strategy is to come back next year when they are added into the pool of stuff you've already won a dozen times.

So part of this was a jump in spending on Star Wars: The Old Republic, which is part of the whole ROTS20th/Andor/Star Wars Battlefront II surge we've been seeing in gaming.

Yoda transferred all the guilt of his failures on to Luke without ever telling him the truth.

Yoda was training Luke to kill Vader/Anakin, and even in ROJ wanted that to happen.

Luke saved Anakin because he TRIED, because he choose not to kill.

I'd argue Luke didn't learn to do that from Yoda.

Absolutely and unequivocally wrong.
