4/ The journal has GORGEOUS illustrations that update as things get... different, and a dossier that updates as you learn more about your friends and family.

3/ Story is inferred from examinables and by using personal deduction to make connections between plot threads and repeated mentions of characters. Again, the confidence.

2/ Robust NG+ with alternate endings, different scenes and conversations, new easter eggs sprinkled around, and they actually *tell* you how to get the alt endings (i.e. Do this but not that). Legend.

1/ Things I really love about Silent Hill f, a thread. No spoilers.

A LOT of early game conversations only make sense on subsequent playthroughs once you get what's going on. The confidence to do that with players is inspiring.
