idk if im just bad or what but everytime i try to use preset leads written in team reports it never goes well, even if I've never used a team before and the author of the report is the creator of the team, i always feel like trusting my intuition works better for me instead of following the report

it's pretty obvious in vgc anyway that it would be some math heavy degree, the main thing I'm interested in is what non technical degree does best and how do players with both those degrees do

for example a math + psychology double major would be best but I wonder how it actually is in practice

I wonder if there has been research conducted to see what college degrees align with success in strategy games, chess would probably be the easiest one to collect data for and it aligns with vgc too because both require a lot of pattern recognition and logical thinking skills

it's pretty interesting how diverse the backgrounds of vgc players are, there are people with PhDs from elite schools in extremely technical fields and on the other end you have people who consistently do well with their strength being in having a strong business acumen
