Yeah, fuck it. I cant sleep so I did it myself.

The Game Awards had a runtime of 3:34:38. Of that runtime, 41:29 was dedicated to awards. That's 19.33% of the show's total runtime. 14 of those awards were announced, rapid-fire, over 4:33.

8:41 was spent talking about Hideo Kojima's tech demo.

Très bon article sur cette parodie de cérémonie que fut les Game Awards cette année. Le temps laissé aux développeurs et aux prix n'a probablement jamais été aussi court :/

Yep, je pense qu'il faudrait y accorder plus d'importance, d'autant plus que ce sont les récompenses les plus proches des métiers. Mais ce n'est pas un show dans le style des Game Awards, donc forcément le public est moins intéressé.

En tant que développeur, je suis surtout intéressé par les D.I.C.E Awards, les prix étant décernés par des personnes travaillant (ou ayant travaillé) dans l'industrie. Les catégories représentent pas mal les différents aspects d'un jeu video. Dommage qu'il y ai un paywall a l'entrée par contre :/
