A lot of Zoos don't always have the best interest of the animals at heart sadly as profit often matters more to them. Not all but a good chunk of them anyway. They're sadly no better here a lot of the time :(

I should add that for the first time in a while the VISA rep was very candid with me. She said that they keep bringing this up to the managers and asking for help/instructions but aren't getting anything from higher-up.

Yes to both! I started playing three months ago and have played everyday since!

That being said I need to give minus points for my biggest gripe with the game: it has a few bugs here and there. They always get fixed sooner or later but it can still be annoying to deal with them - particularly when it prevents you from continuing a quest. But that is all I dislike honestly.

The game is still somewhat in its infancy as the story is nowhere near complete but very interesting. There is lots more to come so there's lots more to look forward to!

They also want to overhaul the way our homes work to allow for even more customisation. But that's a big project and will likely take until next year to actually release.

They have an animal husbandry update coming later this year allowing you to keep cows and chickens (and more to come) on your farm. This will likely also come with a new skill that we can level up and get stuff from!

You can also romance about half of the characters in the game, there is plenty of queer representation too if you pay attention to what the characters say! 👀

They update monthly with bug fixes and new content for the game. It's entirely free, no pay to win. The only thing you pay for is cosmetics i.e clothes for your character or different landscapes for your plot.

That being said if you do like those types of games then yes, Palia is a lot of fun. It has a lot of lore and incredibly well designed and animated characters. The gaming, cooking, mining, fishing and bug catching mechanics are all a lot of fun and there's a lot of ways to decorate your plot.

That depends on whether or not that kind of game is your thing - it's an MMO (sort of,only ever 25 people on one server actually) where you hunt critters, do farming, fishing, catch bugs, fulfill quests for villagers - that sort of thing! It's very relaxing to play, nothing "exciting" like a shooter
