Right. Think about it. If Republican voters also start calling representatives and confronting them at town halls or other events (if they happen), that is much harder for them to dismiss as Democratic partisans. The more Republicans you convince, the more pressure you put on the reps.

And more might regret it, but be unwilling to say so because they might get scolded and put down for voting for him. But if they’re met with understanding and empathy, then it becomes possible to persuade them to become anti-Trump (especially if they can vote for other Republicans/conservatives).
