I wrote a paper on punk-rock as Avant Garde in Derek Jarman's Jubilee in a few hours just in time to jump in a car and go spend a drunken weekend with the boys in a cabin. Hadn't even seen the film until the night before.

I think I even managed to put a few jokes in the footnotes.

I love how they start out very small scale but escalate to interdimensional monsters and time travel very quickly without even upping the miniscule budget that much.
