Recently I released a mod that disables the model replacements SA2's stage cutscenes, also known as mini-events, do. This is mainly for players who use skins because their models will often break.

A Sonic Adventure 2 screenshot. The stage is Basic Test. My OC Max Fetcha is standing before Amy Rose in the Hero Chao Outfit skin I made being unbelievably distorted. This is the result of me dipping my toes into shear effects with SA2's rendering library, Ninja. I'm pretty sure Ninja doesn't have shearing functionality but it should be possible to make my own.

I'm sure she'll be fine.

The drawing of Amy Rose. Some minor design tweaks were made, like the addition of a fang and the tip at the end of her hammer's handle. She's holding her Piko Piko Hammer over her shoulder. A rose background is added because transparency doesn't exist.

I felt like drawing Amy Rose and getting on that Green Amy trend though it's probably passed now 💀.

The render! It has been edited to account for Bluesky's lack of transparency support.

The model in-game. The in-game version has been edited from the render model. The frills and wings have been changed to be opaque models to accommodate for the game's bugged transparency system.

In light of the results of Sonic Rumble's Community Skin design contest, I decided to make a model of the Hero Chao Amy designed by my friend @monoex.bsky.social! Not to be biased, but this was my favorite design. ;)

There's also unused idle chatter that seems to be for Missions 2 and 4 going off of the dialogue. Unlike the Chao World ones, there's no point where they are referenced in the code as far as I know.

SA2 has plenty of unused voicelines. Here, there's some idle chatted for Chao World that never plays because the game doesn't play idle chatter if you're in Chao World.

Another mod I'm working on extends character voice functionality, and so far I've put the most into Kart Racing. I've even added some compatibility for the Opa Opa DLC Kart. Any issues since this video was recorded has since been fixed.

My Childhood was Magical ✨

The new Max Fetcha model. I used the Forces Avatar parts as a base and worked my way from there to make it more accurate.

A BRAND NEW (?!?!?!) 3D model for my OC Max Fetcha. The textures for the clothing will need some work but that's the beauty of learning new stuff!!

He may be coming to CrossWorlds as a mod soon (if I can get the hang of modding Unreal)
