also i saw some downright amazing art there

i remember going to tumblr briefly while the first twitter thing was going on (where everyone was freaking out about twitter and the changes made to it), and it was honestly really nice!
i quit after the ai training thing, but i heard you could opt out, so might come back. it was really chill

A lot of this is because the background stuff and the rendering was so simple. I did the bg in roughly 25 minutes and I spent around an hour or two with the rendering.

I'm not sure if 6 and a half hours is a true estimate, but I think it's accurate?? I think??

This does mean it takes significantly less time to draw, though. I think this took me roughly 6 and a half hours; that means it's my first fully finished artwork in a year and a half that hasn't taken 10+ hours to make!

Fun Fact 2: It's very rare for me to do direct scene redraws like this. I usually try to make my own spin on it, but I decided to make the draft for this right after I finished the episode. Since it was such an impulsive decision, I decided to straight up redraw it.

Fun Fact: the fire is composed of only two layers: the main one is set to Glow and is comprised of most of the fire, and the other one is just a regular layer with low opacity. it's just a few extra fx to make the fire more intense

being honest here i really had no idea i would get into bfdi again (and by proxy osc stuff), and the closest i'd gotten to making art for em was drawing liam from ONE a single time

and now i'm being dragged to make a finished artwork because i just really really like bfdia
