Personally I trust Moyes, our recruitment was spot on last time under him. But, the game has changed a lot.

On the DCL point, some CF can do both, hold the ball up and have good numbers in terms of G/A.
We should be taking these calculated risks. Beto wasnt the right buy and was only brought in because of no down payment. I hope he keeps improving but there’s better out there that we could go and get.

Not basing it on stats mate watch them play footy. And once again it’s his general play that’s the issue, not how often he scores.
If this improves and he keeps these numbers up, I’ll be made up to be wrong but for now, no where near an Everton centre forward

They are all far better than Beto. And again it is not the fact he’s missed 3 chances, it’s that his hold up/link play is not good enough to take us forward.

Does not take 50 million to get a better centre forward than Beto.
Watkins, Wissa, Delap and many more cost a lot less and are much better than him.

Beto’s hold up/link play is no where near good enough to play 38 games if we wanna challenge. But, he’s a great option because he’s chaos

Not writing him off, he’s a great 2nd choice centre forward. But, for me, last night proved why we need a new number 9. Beto’s poor general play is excused if he’s putting the ball in the net, but that showed you can’t hang your hat on him

Can’t believe we didn’t win that, 3 unbelievable chances for Beto, just proved for me we still need a number 9 in the summer.
