Honestly, if these are the parameters then this is economic marginalia. My fear was that the fucking Fed was going to be commanded to start buying bitcoin.

Notionally? It's a young department. Education isn't or perhaps shouldn't be within the federal government's purview. It might be arguable that money can be distributed nationally but that it's overreach for policy to be set in DC.

It's an easy lay up. Education is a local matter in the States.

The point at which this requires legislation is presumably the point at which it runs into the sand. It's too niche for the Senate to give it to him and too easy to drag out.

I'll be disappointed if tyre temps are a problem again this year. Though getting up to temp vs staying within a temp window would be a different aspect of the same problem. Do you know which wing we're running? Alex spoke about how slippery the car was last year.

The Irish Government appears to be advertising on the London Underground, using rather euphemistic language in connection to this tragedy.

Hereโ€™s hoping that any survivors, here or anywhere else, get the support they deserve.

Alas, nothing's cheap. I don't meant to sound defeatist but it's also moot. With everything "funded" two decades out, nothing gets on the agenda and through the process quickly. The State's project management mitigates against fast follows.

At least it's just a fuel line problem or the like. Not a "frankencar" rebuild gone awry.

Agree that would be the section, even for three tracks if trains could conceivably play hopscotch. But you and I know well that there's straightforward in an engineering sense, there's straightforward in a funding sense and then there's straightforward in a "local resident takes Iร‰ to Europe" sense.

Twitter has served up practically zero election comment or coverage to me for which I am frankly grateful.

The way the Twitter algorithm was actually working (for me), once accounts that I was regularly interacting with dropped off, the discovery of relevant content crashed.

Irish Rail seeks approval to replace Dart fleet with 100 new carriages Maintaining and improving Dart stock would cost more than buying new carriages, company says

"Irish Rail has a longer-term plan to add additional tracks on the northern line in and out of Dublin, to separate commuter from intercity services."

LOL does it indeed
