Good news from the Mayor of London’s trip to Ghana, joining the Mayor of Accra to announce the 1st international partner memorial site. Joining a global network, it will honour those trafficked in the Transatlantic trade in enslaved Africans, shining a light on a history that must never be forgotten

Today marks 20 years since the horrific 7 July terror attacks. We remember the 52 lives lost and reflect on the lasting impact on their families, the injured, and our emergency responders. Londoners stand united against hate and terror—there is no place for it in our city.

It was an honour to host my Pride Reception celebrating London’s incredible LGBTQI+ community and their contribution to our capital.

As Mayor, I’ve always sought to maintain our city’s status as a beacon for LGBTQI+ rights.

Our message is clear: you are free to be yourself here.

Today marks eight years since the Grenfell fire. We remember those who lost their lives and honour the survivors, the families, and all who have contributed so much to the recovery of the Grenfell community. We stand with you in solidarity. 💚

Yes let's invest across the country & boost growth outside South East.

I was pleased to join @joannemccartney.bsky.social ‬ & @allymcgovern.bsky.social at the Curzon & Fawood Centre in Brent. Parents & carers really value having services in one place, including access to free advice which @london.gov.uk has proudly funded.

When people told us we couldn’t tackle toxic air pollution—we did it.

When people told us we couldn’t fund free school meals for our kids—we did it.

Together, we can help end rough sleeping in London by 2030.
