Seriously though, I feel like addressing small issues like this is a great way to add plausibility to an anthro world. A small crack to prevent from the universe feeling like a dream utopia. This was inspired by my dog getting her rabies shot. The more I thought about it, I consider one of leading theories about werewolf cases may have been victims of rabies before it was known. And considering how a lot of werewolf stories don't end well for the afflicted, I feel like vaccines could have been stopped the issue before it got worse for anyone. I also decided to use the rabies vaccinations in my comics as a metaphor for vaccines we've gotten; a small fix to what could be a bigger problem like covid. It may disappoint people who wanted to see Michael as a werewolf. But I have to be firm with this since I feel like that once he becomes a werewolf, he can't revert back to regular Michael due to changes it would have done on his body. However, I leave the door open if I decide to make a fantasy-sh pic like in the books or movies he watches. But for the main canon, werewolves are off the table for medical reasons.

Vaccinations have saved lives though.
