Sanguine sits at the bottom of a staircase wearing a lifted red-and-black hoodie and strappy belts underneath, with matching black-and-red stirrup socks and headphones blocking her ears. She is looking towards the camera with a positive demeanor. Behind her, a trail of dark inky red blood trails its way down the stairs, spreading wider as it falls until it pools at Sanguines exposed feet, staining them red. This one started as part of an existing challenge I've had going to pose in every duty, this time Amdapor Keep was my challenge, a place I've actually posed in before in a now-deleted picture, so I figured a second shot was worth it! This began simple I swear, even forgot her glasses so she's canonically blind as a fckn bat in this pic. The blood part came purely as a self-challenge to draw and edit the liquid trailing down the steps, as well as trying to get a decent tone match that stood out but still felt light-balanced with the picture. I've always had a soft spot for body horror, hell, my OC is named Sanguine after all, it's not always just the joy or the red! and quite a lot of her RP lately has taken grim turns putting the big red rat in danger. I don't know how this one will be taken, I don't OFTEN do graphic stuff, but consider this a very literal dipping-my-toes-into-horror as a tease of what's to come, plus it was just fun to make!~ Song is "I Don't Wanna Know" by Weathers ♪ relevant for a 1-month celebration of a good choice ^^ TW:Blood, lotta blood, theres blood, warning (im literally named sanguine what do you expect) reposted because it took like three minutes to post initially, then when i clicked it to check i got a nuked quality image and no alt text, wtf happened there?? i hope this one works!!

Sanguine stands in the space between a wooden table and an ornate glazed pot, with a shelf extending almost fully overtop of her, wearing a small black top undone at the front and matching bottoms exposing her full thighs. She is looking down, her hair falling down over her face and obscuring her eyes. One arm wraps around her waist while the other reaches down to graze the empty table surface, all while a small lit cigarette sends wisps of smoke up to frame her face. The lighting in this one tiny corner of Kugane Castle(?) was too good to pass up for a lil pose, and something about the pattern contrasts from beside the upper and lower body halves sparks joy. Also cleavage does too ^^ the smoke was a last minute thought that I think really tied it all together~ I'm not sure what feeling I was aiming to capture, something about feeling tucked away into a corner and resorting to comforts to get through it, the usual suffering cycle, that kinda thing. Life's been lifing, no rest for the wicked yknow? drink water, love yall ♥ Lyrics from "Garbage" by Twenty One Pilots. A very good song to sum up the past few months I've had, also a nod to the hundred random TOP blogs I followed so I'd see more of my fav band on my feeds hehe
