Andy I couldn’t agree with you more. This is not a great list at all. However, coming up with a “6 for 26” is a good idea, I would just choose guardrails like VRA 2.0 or something like that.

Seriously, Fox News really is like church to those who watch it. They really do think of the outgroup (i.e. Democrats) as lost, unholy, or downright evil. This is also why CNN or MSNBC or any other network interested in objective news reporting could never replicate it.

However, it also explains most of the Democrats they do have on. If they are viewed as potential converts, they are always welcome. John Fetterman is the present favorite, for example. Disgruntled former Biden staffers are common too.

2. More importantly, I realize that its popularity is due to the church like vibe. They treat every segment like they are all members of a church and are fellowshipping with each other. It lends itself easily to vilification of the outgroup, and that happens every hour of the day.
