I haven't seen it yet, but I hear good things. It's on my list.

That being said: I did somewhat, at least, enjoy FFSW. I also enjoyed the first Doom film and saw some merit in the second one as well, though the second was a lesser film in my eyes. Perhaps I'm not an aficionado.

I was talking about film adaptations of video games with a coworker and he seems to think that RE:1 is the pinnacle of them. I'm not so sure. While I haven't seen them all, Silent Hill is the most faithful in my opinion. At least we can agree that Final Fantasy the Spirits Within missed the mark.

It was my 40th birthday yesterday, I got to visit a winery and I'm watching Godzilla Minus One tonight. It's a good weekend.

I've been on a bit of a musical movie kick lately. From Across the Universe to Moulin Rouge, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog to Anna and the Apocalypse (double feature!), Repo! the Genetic Opera and even Grease.

I started playing in '19 and thought I was at the end... nope. Didn't remember how the mechanics work or have the timing down anymore so I started over on a new save file.

Not really. I'm a big fan of the first Silent Hill film and enjoyed the second one as well so, a third might be alright. Google says a BioShock film is in the works and that could be good.

I'd like to see a film-budget Fallout, but the story is too big for ~2 hrs.
