I am gobsmacked, to be honest, that you can buy even a single barrel of anything from what I consider the gravest threat to European security and our civil and democratic societies since the end of WW2.

No wonder Zelenskyy is now focusing on all those oil refineries across Russia. European politicians have failed to match words with action, and it's quite possible that his meetings with Trump helped to develop this strategy in ways we may remain classified for some time to come.

The true North American people lived long before Colombus, long before white Europeans crossed the Atlantic ocean. Perhaps now it's a good time to make a lot more noise about America's native people, in case anyone thinks the country is owned by people who came only 250 years ago.

Machado teaches us how essential it is, above all, for all Republican opposition parties, Independents, Democrats and Socialists, to work together as one team, a partnership or collaboration, that has one aim only, taking back the House & Senate to reinstate the guardrails of democracy.

Machado has worked tirelessly for over 25 years in Venezuela. And still they're ina dictatorship. The fight in the USA must be now, and all the way to the mid-terms, which may well be gerrymandered sufficiently to allow Republicans to remain in control.

As the USA hurtles to full-blown autocracy, do I believe that Trump voters knee this would happen in the States? Did they want to enrich the very few at the top, at the expense of even their basic housing, food and medical needs?

The more I learn about Mario Corina Machado, the more inspirational she becomes.

Germany under Angela Merkel went ahead with NS2 after Russia invaded Ukraine's Crimea region and the Donbas. If I'm not mistaken the Americans and others pleaded with her not to go ahead with this project which would have made Germany (and Europe) even more dependant on Russian energy supplies.
