That too. $800 for Bandai's full set vs $700+ Kosmos vs Daban at $500 with a maintenence bay. Unless you're a super fan and need the flip-top finger gimmick, there's not much of an incentive to go with Bandai. It's sad.

At this point, they're honestly just selling the Daban 1/60 Nu for Daban. All of this, including better LEDs for $500.

Honestly, get something that you enjoy looking at or have a connection to. If the kit came out after 2010, it's not going to need too much love and care. I would shy away from a Real Grade as your first kit if you don't have any model experience, just because their parts can get super small.

It's not too late to panel line and scribe the charging block!
