i want to be excited about my birthday, but i haven't been since i turned 30. i don't have a community anymore or friend circle so everything feels bad. it also just reminds me of all my friends who don't get to celebrate another year alive anymore.

I found another awful right wing misinformation cesspool with a few absolutely fake AI bad actors who are not part of my local community. Every time I report their posts, comments, and profiles I am told that "Rona Con" is a real person and isn't breaking community standards. Yeah, ok.

Just joined a "Parents of <Town>" group on FB because someone suggested some more uncensored conversation about my town council was being held there. Turns out it's just a far right wing cesspool of "owning the libs" and "MAGA MAGA MAGA." It's actually wholly terrifying.

haven't used my iPad air 2 in ages, finally found a use except everything now requires iOS 16 which isn't supported on my iPad. so i basically have a web browser & e-reader paperweight.
