As long as you're still getting clients and they're still happy with your work then you don't need to waste your energy worrying about people who copy you tbh!! then you can spend that energy on the stuff you want to improve 🤭

I think that's the nature of being a 'pioneer' in a sense? putting any work out there means people will end up using it as inspo, which I don't think is inherently a bad thing. I'm sure you use other designers/artists as inspo too, as do all of us! Obviously there is a line though

also don't think of other artists as competitors, rather they are coworkers! there will always be people who love your work, there's an unlimited pool of potential customers so there's no need to see others as competition to "beat" ☺️💕

I think for commissions new/creative isn't super necessary? people like your work based on your current portfolio so you don't need to force yourself to improve for every comm imo

I think it's better for mentals to stay consistent but happy rather than compare yourself!
