Five on Friday with Rosie Hendry @hendry_rosie Today I'm delighted to feature author Rosie Hendry. Her heartwarming stories are inspired by historical records, where gems of social history are often to be found. Her interest in the WWII era was sparked by her father’s many tales of growing up at that time. Rosie’s novel, The Mother’s Day Club, won the 2022 Romantic Novelists’ Association (RNA) award for historical romantic sagas, and isthe first of her books set at Rookery House during wartime. Her East End Angels series set in the London Blitz, has been described as ‘Historical fiction at its very best!’.
