Prodigy Reloaded

It’s a stretch I’m sure, but if you have your old PC you used Prodigy on, the files from C:\PRODIGY are very helpful to recover bits of the service for the revival.

Did you ever make it to the 3rd level? It does get pretty difficult to navigate without a meticulously crafted map.

Got it. I’ve mined archive org for old CompuServe references of which there are a couple. But if you ever come across any comprehensive reference you may have squirreled away, please keep me in mind!

@leatherox.bsky.social you mentioned using Eaasy Sabre in the past in another post…. Did you use it directly, via CompuServe/Genie/Delphi? I’m trying to find old reference materials on it and the internet appears to have mostly forgotten about it!

Was it on the PS/1 that you used Prodigy?

Did you use Prodigy Interactive Service? In 1990, my mother and I went to Sears to buy the computer you see in the ad, an IBM PS/1. We signed up for Prodigy and I was blown away. It was my introduction to the online world. Message boards, electronic encyclopedia, email, awesome stuff.
