So I just re-read “Speak” by L. H. Anderson, and I was pleasantly surprised how well it holds up. There’s no phones in it, so that’s different than today, but yeah. It was an anniversary edition, and had an interview with Anderson in the back. That made me cry.

Ok, I don’t have a photo for it, but I was reminded the other day that I read “The Perfect Nine” by Ngugi wa Thiong’o. I don’t want to forget it—a fabulous book! If you like poetry, if you like epic stories, a hit.
Probably one of my top books for 2025.

Thought provoking. It was a quick read for me, and I haven’t read The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn for *years* but I was trying to compare the events of the two books in my mind. I really thought a lot about the symbolism of the boiler room. 5/5, plot twist was excellent.
