Never forget how progressive Democrats screamed and droned and barked at Biden about canceling student loans with a stroke of a pen instead of securing our voting rights.

Now we will have neither! Thanks! 👍🏽

I do take it personally when people attack Democrats, the only party to ever stand for my basic right to exist, and then hide behind the cowardly excuse of “criticizing power.”

When you present critique of Dems as equally or more important than critique of Republicans, you do MAGA’s work for them.

Black women have always known it was open season on us.

The current white nationalists in charge of the country, just want to make is visibly clear that they're aiming for pre Civil Rights era "justice."

Hegseth did not inform the White House before he authorized pause on weapon shipments to Ukraine, sources say | CNN Politics Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth did not inform the White House before he authorized a pause on weapons shipments to Ukraine last week, according to five sources familiar with the matter, setting off...

Just a few months ago, Pete Hegseth was a TV show host on Fox News. Now he’s pausing U.S. military aid operations without informing the White House.

This is what happens when you let unqualified people run the Pentagon. It’s reckless and dangerous.

ICE abuse and violence isn’t starting from scratch.

ICE officers aren’t new grads from ICE school.

ICE abuses immigrants, because US law enforcement abuses residents.

ICE facilities do human rights abuses because US jails and prisons do.

Canceled grants get the spotlight at a Capitol Hill 'science fair' On Tuesday, scientists held an event organized by House Democrats in which they stood in front of posters outlining their work — and the federal cuts that now threaten it.

Dems did very creative thing yesterday, and I haven’t heard a single person talk about it. In the lobby of the Rayburn house office building on Capitol Hill they hosted a science fair for canceled grants where the people who have lost their grants showed the research that will never be finished.

Infographic titled “One Court, Two Standards” compares how the Supreme Court used emergency powers to rule on lower-court injunctions against the Biden and Trump administrations. Two panels show:
	•	Biden Administration: Lower courts blocked policies in 21 cases. All 21 cases are represented by red squares, indicating that 0% of injunctions/TROs were lifted by SCOTUS.
	•	Trump Administration: Lower courts blocked policies in 86 cases. 66 green squares and 20 red squares show that 77% of injunctions/TROs were lifted by SCOTUS.

Key takeaway box below reads:
“Using its ‘shadow docket,’ the Supreme Court granted emergency relief to lift 77% of lower-court injunctions against the Trump administration. It lifted 0% of those against the Biden administration.”

Sources and notes below include: CourtListener data through July 7, 2025; analysis by Adam Bonica.

The Supreme Court’s “shadow docket” has cast very different shadows depending on which party holds the White House.

When lower courts blocked Trump admin policies, SCOTUS intervened on an emergency basis to lift those orders in 77% of cases.

For the Biden administration, that number was 0%.

If ranking member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Bernie Sanders could try holding HHS secretary RFK Jr accountable for any of the things he's doing to dismantle health and human services in this country, that would be great.
