Anyone else pissed off at Bluesky's age verification process? I was at least hoping to have to update some proof of age, etc. Instead, it scanned my face for about 0.2 of a second and correctly deduced that I am in fact pretty old. Fuming.

Apparently it’s a Bank Holiday in Scotland today. As I’m a quarter Scottish, it made sense to stop work at 3.00 and instead look for some new running shoes.

First #parkrun today in a month. Expecting it to be brutal, mainly bc I’ve spent the last month eating. Go well everyone.

Weeks after my youngest daughter moved out, my eldest daughter had an offer accepted on a flat today. Does anyone know if this means the wife and I are going to have to start talking to each again soon?

After five months of growing it, I’ve shaved the beard off today. I was going for the Viking look, but have accepted I ended up looking more like Uncle Albert from Only Fools and Horses.

My youngest daughter moves into her first house tomorrow and I’m not sure I’m mentally ready for this day.

Simba is an older, front wheel drive, model. Also, we couldn’t get the socks on his back feet.

After last weeks #parkrun pb and feeling unstoppable, today I was definitely more at the stoppable end of the scale.

I'm definitely getting too reliant on ChatGPT to get through the day. I just asked it why I was such a useless turd in the afternoons at work and its suggestions were both practical and welcome.

Is there anything worse, after a shitty Monday at work, than getting home and finding out you’ve got quiche for tea.

Six years on, after two toe operations, and c. 912 bottles of wine, I finally set a new #parkrun pb today of 26.09. Very happy.

#parkrun Pacer Day today. Was meant to be pacing 31 and was bang on until the last 100 yds, when I got distracted by whether I had run out of gin for tonight. So 31:03 was my finishing time.
