I highlighted the need for support (finances, time, training, morale) to ensure individuals with less-established careers feel able to coordinate HEU projects. Many highly capable people may feel unable to take on these roles; barriers must be removed to unlock wider potential. #ECRs

Key pathways to impact include working with the right partners to ensure developments can be implemented in the real world. @marinebeacon.bsky.social partners incl technology companies, marine scientists, economists & fisheries experts all working with key stakeholders to ensure uptake of outputs

I had the opportunity to participate in a panel at Enterprise Ireland's Horizon Europe conference yesterday. It was great to hear about diverse projects, including green cities, electric vehicles and renewable energy, all with aims and objectives dedicated to driving sustainable change

At a parents teacher meeting a teacher pretty much said 'well it's clear you aren't carrying this on to A-level so we don't need to worry about it too much'!
