Crazy the players didn't twig at any point to the fact that they weren't getting time on the ball. They tried to hold onto it, got caught out, gave it away cheaply, then did it again and again. Very slow to get the ball out wide, and the pass was never played ahead of the runner - all too static.

Piss poor, but other than a little spell in the second half United have been dreadful tonight, don't really deserve anything. Careless and slow all night - caught out by some of the poor wprk they've been getting away with in the last few games.

Agree with everyone saying the ref will be desperate to even things up after getting the anguished howls from Newcastle fans for his correct decisions. Taking Shaw and Mbeumo off might be sensible seeing as they've been booked.

Worth noting that every time I've wanted a player subbed at half time lately, they've popped up with a goal or assist in the second half. Pretty sure this isn't one of those occasions.
