Matt Berninger traded his notebook for a baseball. And the words kept coming
For The National’s frontman, the way forward was written on rawhide.
From @theathletic.com: A few years ago, Matt Berninger, the singer-songwriter and frontman of The National, was stuck with writer’s block. “I started getting depressed by notebooks.” So he wrote on a baseball instead. Then the words kept coming.

Injuries ended a star QB’s career. Back home, he found a protege — and a purpose
The bond between two quarterbacks is tested by the game they love but can’t control.
“In all honesty,” Cam Rising says, “I feel like the world’s my oyster.”
After the Rose Bowls and Heisman chatter, an injury switched the tracks. He went home. He found a QB bound for Michigan and a purpose.
Then the game, as Rising knows it can, demanded more.

Cignetti, who has engineered an amazing turnaround at Indiana, and Nebraska's Matt Rhule will be top targets.
