Meeting the amazing Daniel Hernandez at Batalladores Convention in Spain. Our last convention this year. Presenting our new release “Neither King Nor God” I and working intensively with Daniel on his design “The Collapse”, a phantastic, very immersive game about the 30 Years War.

Before the convention opened its doors, these gentlemen couldn’t resist, sat down and played the game. I think they liked it 😊

Renaissance Europe was messy. Mercenaries fought for coin, bishops switched sides, and spies were everywhere. Neither King Nor God lets you dive into that chaos and see if you can outwit the rest of the table.

Anniversary of the battle of Aspern-Essling, 1809. This battle will be vol. 3 in our BoN series (Q4/25). An overlooked, very dramatic battle. One of the few Napoleonic battles where ammunition supply was a real issue. After the clash Napoleon said "I lost the battle against the river".

Enjoying Punchedcon in UK with my designer friend Wolfgang (ASSAULT series). Many Sound of Drums games are being played. It’s great to meet many gamers from UK in person.
