An FYI that invasive bush honeysuckle has shallow roots. Often pulling by hand or a couple of good kicks when the ground is soft will get that mess out. I just rained down destruction on these pests in my woods. So satisfying.

One lobbyist advised folks to lay low and not draw attention to themselves or their agencies. Just promote the happy things about preservation. I understand the tenuous line agencies have to walk in the hopes of retaining some funding. /2
