like a long and sad river
that disappeared in a sunset

They say that autumn slowly fades away,
that the cold winter suddenly vanishes,
that spring is gone in a breath,
now it's summer, and I'll never see you
again

As much as I tried to forget you
time prolonged the longing
when I couldn't find you

As much as I tried to look
at the stars, I could not see
the infinite brightness of your eyes
