An excerpt from a fanfiction. It reads: Kni looks at Vash splayed across the table, grits his teeth. Kni looks at his hideous, beautiful body and wishes that he had swallowed him up in the womb; that he might have saved him all the pain this wretched world has to offer. There are some mistakes that can never be unmade. The limbs will never grow back. The rift between them, however, Kni is working on. Sliding the metaphorical needle into the space around the wound, threaded with something tight and bonding and permanent. This, he can heal. This will heal, even if he has to force it.
