A ball of pale creme yarn, a blue crochet hook and a long narrow creme crochet swatch with small holes, including a specific one that creates little Vs between different rows
In case you were wondering the "dc/FPTC2tog, dc in next 3 sc, FPTC/TC2tog, ch 1, skip over ch1-sp, rep" is complex but very satisfying!

Hungry for more accessibility analogies and metaphors related to baking? @lflegal.bsky.social has compiled some great ones. These help make thinking about accessibility more accessible to people, as they put things in terms they can relate to and understand.

Lots of great quotable lines from @deque's Axe-con, including this gem from @stephaniewalter.bsky.social: "You can't sprinkle eggs on the cupcake after baking it. Fixing accessibility later is messy, slow, ineffective!"

Oooh this could be fun. I'm a serial procrastinator so I know I won't actually move my fingers into building it without a real deadline ahha

Behold the vestibular disorder anthem that has been stuck in my head for 3 days. If I have to suffer with an earworm, I don't want to suffer alone.
Also can we bring those haircuts and make-up back?

Especially once you get the red for error green for success yellow for warning and blue for info there's not a lot left for the brand colors to play with π
We are going for blue and yellow brand, so the info needs to be another share of blue and the error another shade of yellow
In this case it was more like "it's easier to borrow yours without permission since it already works than put into the work of building our own palette"
But yeah programmatically speaking it's trickier to automate. I'm working with MUI at the moment it's nice but I'm still tweaking a lot
Yaaah, the yellow lover team hehe

What limits your choices is a lack of knowledge, and / or creativity. I can't do anything about creativity, but, I can help you with accessibility knowledge.
I built six WCAG-tested palettes to show that accessibility doesnβt limit creativity.
Accessibility: Yellow, Purple and the Myth of βAccessibility Limits Color Palettesβ
I won't have time to debunk the old "yellow is not accessible" myth in my axe-con talk.
But, you are lucky: I already wrote a whole article on how accessibility does NOT limit color choices.

The answer is "almost anything in the kitchen in a certain quantity, or if left too long without proper storage might become toxic".
Also isn't it funny how the same thing that used to kill people in sausages is now injected under the skin for cosmetic surgery purposes?
Word of advice: maybe don't annoy the woman with a poison locket, a sharp pointy hairpin, and a black cat attitude.
She's clearly reading assassin fantaisy, is a big fan of Maomao, and researched "how to poison someone with things you can find in the kitchen" just to know if that TV show plot holds.
Thanks for the mention. Also I really like this format of newsletters mixing narrative and articles it's quite nice!!

Yellow flowers and purple leaves surround her.
Also, I've prepared a talk to help designers, who are tired of having accessibility pushed later, or ignored.
February 25, 9am ET (3pm CET) I'll open the design track at #axecon with my talk "How to Convince People to Care and Invest in Accessibility" : www.deque.com/axe-con/sess...
Little reminder that axe-con, organised by @deque.com is this week!!
It's a free online, two days (February 24 25) event, with a very nice line up of talks about accessibility and inclusive design.
Want to learn about accessibility? Register, check them live, or catch the replays!
