I agree, but also I think people conflate inherency with some kind of requirement? Like, it's more accurate to say "I love her inherently" because love of immediate family tends to be the default (esp for kids), and it takes a lot to rewire that in your head when it's no good for you.

I know I'm technically a day late, but i haven't gone to sleep yet, so it counts.

On the one hand, I got some cool pics today. On the other, I walked into a spider web and can still "feel it" even hours later.

This is endlessly frustrating about current activism. Disabled people are INCREDIBLE organizers and have fought for successful change for generations. And yet these days y’all leave us out of your activism and refuse to create accessible spaces.

But in some ways it's the opposite. The AFABs R said to "mature faster" put in charge of younger siblings and the house, whereas AMAB will be given passes for not contributing to the household cause there's no expectation of similar effort and responsibility. In that way AMABs R more infantalized.
