2nd, 400+ Rhode Islanders gathered outside the Federal Center in Downtown PVD in reaction to yet ANOTHER murder in Minneapolis by ICE/CBP, this time of Alex Pretti, a 37 year old nurse who worked & died a hero. We are OUTRAGED at the murder of another community member at the hands of ICE/CBP.

1st, we hosted a Rapid Response Training w the Deportation Defense Network & Lawyers’ Committee, teaching community members how to take action if ICE/CBP shows up in our neighborhoods. 250+ folks were in attendance at the training, which took place @ Bell Street Chapel in PVD, RI.

THIS IS WHAT COMMUNITY LOOKS LIKE! Over 300 Rhode Islander’s braved the freezing cold and impending storm not once, but twice yesterday to protect their neighbors and stand in solidarity with Minneapolis.
