Well I happen to be Israeli. No need to convince you. I just know the history of the peace movement and what happened to it. I was apart of it

23.06.2025 01:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβll take it
23.06.2025 01:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You are wrong. Majority of Israelis wanted two states. There was a very strong peace movement in Israel. It doesnβt exist today
23.06.2025 01:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Fair enough. Please understand that without eradicating Hamas and by pulling out of Gaza now, this will happen again. Something needs to change. Wondering what you think of Iran
23.06.2025 01:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0You seem to have an answer. I donβt. Itβs a disaster. But Israel chooses to protect its people. Hamas uses its people as cannon fodder.
23.06.2025 01:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Pay for slay
Hamas is rife in the West Bank. If not for IDF it would be another Gaza
Israeli public is not ok with it. Most would like to get the hell out of Gaza. But they have learned, finally, after October 7 that things canβt return to business as usual. You think Israelis want their sons in Gaza perpetually?
23.06.2025 01:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Most Israelis would be willing to give up land for true peace. Unfortunately, there is no reliable partner. PA is the least worst of the options. But itβs not good enough. There needs to be an interim plan whereby Gaza is governed, for a few years at least by outside Arab forces
23.06.2025 00:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Two states are not possible at this point. It was a great ideaβ¦unfortunately the Palestinians had no interest
23.06.2025 00:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Whereβs the lie?
23.06.2025 00:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Whatβs your point?
23.06.2025 00:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0But until then, there is no alternative
22.06.2025 23:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Israelis struggle with the pictures that they see from Gaza. But what choice does Israel have? Declare a ceasefire and pull of out Gaza? This will only be repeated in 3 or 4 years. Hamas must be eradicated. And if some Arab countries are willing to govern and rehabilitate Gaza, that would be great.
22.06.2025 23:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 1I donβt for a minute believe in the βexterminationβ stats. I was born in Israel, and I have family and friends there. Not one person has expressed such thoughts to me. I think we would see many more dead Gazans after 20 months of war had this been a predominant sentiment.
22.06.2025 23:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Not at all now. The sentiment to remove Palestinians from Gaza is understandable. There is a bottomless well of hatred for the Jews. Hamas has promised to repeat October 7 βagain and againβ. What sensible Israeli would want to live next to a people like this.
22.06.2025 23:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I saw this particular poll to which you refer and I consider it very suspect. A Pew poll from March, 2025 revealed that up to 50% of Israelis say that a two-state solution is possible. This is significantly down from previous years but to me,rather surprising. I was extremely optimistic after Oslo
22.06.2025 23:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 4 π 0Sorry to lose you. Problem is, majority of Israelis are secular and liberal. What do you think drove them to this? Give it some thought Marco.
