When right wingers lose a primary, they double down, organize, and fight twice as hard in the next primary. But they always vote Republican in the general election. Liberals and leftists don't do that. That has given the Republicans a major advantage, and our country is far worse off as a result.

I am absolutely fine duking it out in primaries. What I oppose is staying home if your preferred candidate loses in the primary. For the last 50 years, right wing people have consistently voted Republican even when they were disappointed by primary results. That hasn't been true of liberals.
