Highlights included a few fellow Fallout fans nerding about their favorite things, a kid freaking out at my laser rifle and kind compliments on the costume. Someone even thought my Pip-Boy was from the collector's edition. 😆 (It's not that good looking.)

And it's a wrap for #PGW2025. Though I was disappointed I couldn't finish the whole armor set in time (and ran into a design issue with the shoulders 😭), I finally got the honor to meet @dawnofshadow.bsky.social in person, and a Death Stranding cosplayer made my day a whole lot better.

Honestly it's the first time in more than 15 years of cosplay that this happens to me... I can't begin to imagine what it's like for pretty cosplayers. 😕

Thanks! I'm a bit sad because I couldn't wear everything (the shoulder things didn't attach properly and I didn't have time to test them before today 😭) but still happy how it turned out 😎

Convention pro tip: do not, and I cannot emphasize this enough, DO N O T try to get a cosplayer's phone number while invading their personal space. This isn't the place, and we're not interested.

So many efforts to get down to and maintain a size where I can actually wear clothes from the 1950s... It's not much but I'm happy with it. Now I get to wear this beauty and get called Mrs Maisel by my colleagues.
