White cotton lace sewed on old pink and fuschia fabric.
Juxtaposed vintage white cotton lace bands, sewed on pink fabric.
Gave myself the challenge to use as much pre-owned material as possible, even when not ideal, for any upcoming projects (3R).
These lovely cotton lace strips are vintage (70s), the old pink fabric is from goodwill and the fuchsia one is from my personal stash.
It does the trick!

The best thing about cosplaying underground characters is that although most people won't know who you are, for those who do usually lose their shit over you. Bonus when related artists get to see you.

It's been some time since I've made a project fully from scratch. And with a character coming directly from my childhood at that.
Asterix animated movies were a staple in my home and I've probably watched them a bajillion times.
Expect WIP posts.

The trickiest thing I've made is probably Airy's giant wings. Building them was an endeavor in itself but having them to stand on my back at the right angle while sporting open shoulders was the real challenge.

As I was rewatching NatGeo Wild Nordic, I was reminiscing my visit to Solvรฆr, finding myself pointing at the tv just like that Leo meme : I WAS THERE, I SAW THAT!
A walk across this Svinรธya feels a bit like going back in time, between the rorbuer and the fish drying racks.
