They’ve long been told they’re expendable so maybe as a result they’re generally compassionate to victims of power abuse

114 years ago, a fire broke out at the 10-story Triangle Shirtwaist factory in NYC and killed 146 workers, mostly young women. They were trapped inside because the owners locked the fire escape exit doors.
