I'm upset. The University of Alaska has fallen in line with Trump's DEI dictate. I support diversity, equity and inclusion. DEI attracts the most talented, and helps creates inclusive workplace. DEI is fairness and values and respects everyone. Trump's decree to remove DEI language is racist.

Pole Trial #2 — Today I dipped my DJI Osmo Action 4 camera into the frozen Chena River using a 40-foot pole. I was hoping to see fish or something otherwise interesting in the frigid water. Next time I'll increase the frame rate for smoother video. Enjoy.

Insanity on Ice — My dash camera captured these frightening moments on the Johansen Expressway today. Rain on icy roads. In my rear view mirror I saw six vehicles scattering to avoid the spinning car that had spun out of control. No collisions! Weird warm weather in Fairbanks, Alaska.

I drilled holes through this old hard drive to destroy all my personal information. Now it can be safely recycled without concern. Using a drill press for this was oddly satisfying. Enjoy.
