Agreed. There are so many parties splitting the vote and who knows what Musk is planning with Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. Something’s afoot.

Hope they get an invite to the #MetGala this year too. It would be great to celebrate athletes’ achievements, not just actors, musicians and models.

Maybe coincidence but Chopra’s meditation app was renamed β€˜InnerNow’ about a year ago which disassociates from him. I makes me wonder if the redactions will delay the release of names long enough so that at least the perps can get their houses in order, their finances, their businesses etc.

Sadly true. The stadiums are not big enough for starters.

Yes, humans are tools to the ultra rich.

Good point. It occurred to me that if these types of individuals were running the major talent agencies, the modelling agencies, the beauty contests then it might explain why popular culture and media promotes teenage youth as the beauty standard for adult women. Did they define β€˜beauty’ for women?

I think satire is something different. We can agree to disagree. Have a great day! πŸ’

Take it seriously is one approach.

It’s one way of responding however people ridiculed Farage from the start and ridiculed him despite the constant media attention, many dismissed him and the leave vote and look where we are.

Agreed. It’s working though. Look at the huge coverage they got for their ridiculous media stunt.

It can’t be dismissed. It’s got a huge readership online, mainly due to its gossip. It’s an easy read providing great sound bites for lazy conservatives and right wingers who can’t be bothered to look up facts but want to be told who to blame.

Did anyone ask about his choice of advisor in the form of Bannon whom he thanked for securing Brexit. Where are all the front pages and news headlines on that story? Instead we get constant, non-stop puff pieces and wall to wall coverage on a still minority party, with occasional β€˜tough’ questions.

Am I imagining things but didn’t the Tories, under Johnson’s leadership, oversee an investigation into Russian interference in UK politics/Brexit that was so heavily redacted it was worthless?

And their views are given platforms by the media for no other reason than they are immensely wealthy (financially).

Was surprised by them choosing Mandy. Is it possible Trump had something to do with the selection knowing Mandelson was compromised and that he would represent the US interests more favourably in Britain?

Irks me when the presenters at Glastonbury sometimes get visibly drunk on tv and interview performers as if they’re their personal friends. They each behave as if the Glastonbury festival coverage is their own personal vacation and we’re the flies on the wall. It’s all very insular and cringeworthy

06.02.2026 15:48 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Agreed. I don’t watch much tv either but there’s lots of radio and factual programming, drama, sports and children’s. So yes, as with all services very much depends on what’s your β€˜jam’. There’s deffo room for improvement.

06.02.2026 15:41 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

They have absolutely contributed to the rise of Farage in Britain and the β€˜both sides’ reporting. I stopped listening to the Today Programme on Radio 4 when it was clear it had become pro-Brexit. Harms certainly have been done. No question.

β€œHow do they expect to cover the 2012 London Olympics?” they protested. Erm… maybe the same way they covered the Beijing Olympics from London.

100% agree. Though Β£15 per month is fanastic value compared to streaming services that include ads too. But I do agree it’s the plaything of Britain’s elite. You only had to listen the miserable protestations when the BBC decided to move a couple of its departments to Manchester in β€œthe provinces”.

I did notice they seem to have doubled down on releases relating to Andrew and Fergie. Comparatively little detail coming through on his US associates. This runs deep, suspect many of his associates are still running the show. They can slow this down but can’t stop it - not followed the money yet.

And look at how they do minimise it when it’s a proven fact. Sky News was STILL referring to Epstein as β€œthe disgraced financier” on Monday. JE was prosecuted, went to prison yet they describe him as β€˜disgraced’. And the go to β€˜financier’ as if he ever had an actual profession. That’s a stretch. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

04.02.2026 19:38 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I suspect there are similar β€˜operations’ to Epstein’s worldwide, and the Italian bunga bunga parties are no exception. I wonder if we’ll ever find out what Johnson got up to when he ditched his security detail to go to a castle, making his way home alone with a hangover and rumpled suit via Easyjet

I think the camel-coloured shirt and tinted skin together is too matchy-matchy.
