As a former A's fan, I am not feeling any nostalgia for some reason. I wish him the best, but his association with the Giants after what they did to Piccinini and A's fans is beyond the pale. I guess he can justify the association by being an innocent party and looking out for his family.

I am starting to question Melvin’s character, I gave him the benefit of the doubt for a while, but becoming a Giants manager after what they did to east bay fans, (Modesto Bee, “Piccinini Reflects On A’s Deal”) and now back to the A’s after they screwed over fans in his Berkeley community?
