Also, in NJ and PA, the funny thing is that it's completely legal to give cigarettes to children and also legal for them to have them and smoke them. It's just illegal for stores to sell it to them. And not one person has ever fixed that to my knowledge... proving that wasn't the point.

This is like when I lived in NJ and politicians constantly would just raise taxes on cigarettes every year claiming that it was "to protect kids" and it never made sense b/c kids have more disposable income... yet people constantly let them do it until it started hurting sales too much.
