Excessive or not, I think you did a great job.

Donovan is sitting and looking to the left with a pained and saddened expression on his face. His right eye is missing and his face is covered with blood. His chest and right arm are also injured with long gashes and a significant scrape.

Since its spooky season. I decided to get in some more blood rendering practice. By beating up Donovan again. Being a Psuedo-celestial makes a person extra tough though this is a bit excessive for the sake of practice.

Fucked up is the only adjective that come to me for that situation, I'm sorry you have to go through this.

It turned out lovely.
