Wow, that looks like a fun show. Picture is of the Ruston Bucyrus steam-powered excavator at Beamish in County Durham over here in North East, close to Newcastle. Great place to visit if you are over in that part of UK, industrial and social living history museum on a huge site.

Looks like what we used to call a "steam shovel". For excavating soil and rock. Older ones powered by steam engines. Newer ones were powered by IC engines.
I go to a huge excavating show in Florida every couple of years to see stuff like this. My Dad was a drag-line operator (a similar machine)

Just removed a ton of masking tape from the AMP 1/72 Canberra TT.18. Quite happy with the roundel colours. A couple of corrections are needed here and there, but they're probably best done as part of the weathering process. Next stages though: gloss coat and decals! #histscalemodels #scalemodels

Back in '92, I have all the chrome parts a coat of clear orange for an 'anodised' effect. This time I'm keeping it silver and shiny. Wish they'd had the whitewalls in the '90s kit...

On left are original ones from restoration version, hand painted white logos using moulded outline in tyre; on right decals on smooth tyres in new re-release.
Both have gold from AK Playmarker, Citadel black wash and MIG Atom metalics on nuts.
