After all, it hasn't been long ago since the majors riots and protests occured in the country. One of the most prominent one as of recent was the '98 Riots. Only 27 Years ago.

Though the events are mostly undocumented, wikipedia has a good enough information to paint a picture.

Many banks are closed (staff WFH) while the riots are happening in Jakarta. The announcement was sent out as late as 8PM yesterday (29th Aug), they didn't inform the customers regarding it either. Even call centers are not as informed.
