Yeah. It is expected that 33 is a double and 34 a blank. Maybe others later in the season too.

That's fair, and it would have worked out really well for any who did that.
I think I would find it too difficult to discern 'beginning of form' from 'flash in the pan' to play that style myself, but part of the beauty of the game is that there are lots of different viable approaches.
But he wasn't on form going into that run...
So 'form' managers wouldn't have bought him for it - only 'fixtures' managers had any reason to expect him to do well.
So he hauls against Brentford, Palace, West Ham, Wolves, Leeds, Burnley and Villa (but not against Arsenal).
And the conclusion we're supposed to draw is fixtures don't matter?
