The organization has approximately 6 weeks to find new funding or myself and my supervisor are out of jobs. Another co-worker was already let go as a result of the funding being pulled.

I actively searched for a full-time job for over 6 months before being hired at a non-profit medical office, only to find out two weeks in that the grant that funds my salary (and two others) has been de-funded by the federal government 🙃 the grant was for the ehr program (electronic health records)

I spoke about the importance of breaking the right rules and harnessing chaos for the greater good.

I've decided to provide him with resources to educate himself and leave the ball in his court. If that's too much for him then I know where he stands. I just don't have room in my life for someone who claims to love me but celebrates my community losing basic human rights and being put in danger.

We just received word that the DOJ has begun removing data detailing criminal charges and convictions related to Trump loyalists. This started with records from the January 6th insurrection, but additional records are now being erased. We will keep you updated once we have more info.

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

Join us in solidarity—fly your American flag upside down, the traditional signal of distress and extreme emergency.

It has officially happened. I have been officially let go from my position at CDC. I wasn’t a probationary employee. I had stellar performance reviews every year.

I’ll be ok. But please understand that many worked HARD to get into these positions and were doing great public health work.
