ive been wanting to rewatch this whole series several times but i had to keep dropping it just because i didnt have time. I legit haven't seen the later seasons back to back before. I saw them as they aired

season 1 is probably the weakest season but i still really like it. It does have a specific charm the others dont though

friendship is magic as a whole though has to be one of the best "cozy shows" ever imo

Season 1 is a lot different from the other seasons where they didnt have the fandom in mind so there's a lot less random humor which i miss from the other seasons

I hope this isn't a dumb take or an obvious one, im still observing my first viewing. I love how unapologetic this series is with it's grossness. It doesnt give a fuck

almost every aspect of Chainsaw Man seems unpleasant so far, I'm not sure if that was the point or not. Like it feels like relentlessly gross. The color pallet has a lot of browns, greys, the dialogue has a lot of nastiness too it, the designs are unpleasant, and the violence is at max. I love it

I'm still watching through Chainsaw Man for the first time, and I'm up to episode 5. I like this show a lot! It's fucking weird and nasty but I'm invested. I don't know a ton about Makima yet but I love how much of a presence she has. She's intimidating even without saying much
